Zack

3 March 2025, Zack underwent a femur replacement surgery, and thank God, the operation was successful. He spent a week in high care so the doctors could monitor him closely before being moved to the ward the following Monday. His mom shared how heartbreaking it has been watching her baby endure so much pain, yet even through the hardest moments Zack continues to push through with courage and resilience. We are grateful that he is currently doing better and recovering well. Zack is scheduled for Audiology and GFR tests on the 25th of March, after which, God willing, he will begin his third cycle of treatment. He also has follow-up appointments at Groote Schuur Hospital this Thursday and at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital on the 25th of March.
